Day Services
For young people transitioning out of education, we provide onsite and offsite day services that provide routine to their day, filled with activities with a purpose that combines education, skill-building, discovery and fun!
The Hut @ Rose Road
The Hut @ Rose Road runs from 9am-3pm Monday to Friday and is based on-site at The Bradbury Centre, offering routine and familiarity to young adults who have left education and feel most comfortable having a regular base while preparing for a more independent life.
We organise several regular activities such as dance, music therapy, crafts, healthy lifestyle activities, boccia, animal encounters and weekly visits to a hydrotherapy pool, as well as making regular trips out to places in the community.
Destinations
Our Destinations off-site day service runs either 9am-3pm or 10am-4pm and provides young adults with fun, engaging activities and adventures throughout the local community and further afield to places like Portsmouth, Bournemouth and the New Forest, with the use of our social space at the Bradbury Centre too.
We create a person-centred plan to help every individual achieve their own personal goals. Each individual has a staff ratio appropriate to their needs, and we help them to work towards their targets and prepare them for the next steps in their adult lives.
