Residential Respite Breaks

Our respite service is available to both children and adults with complex physical and learning disabilities. We assess the needs of each young person individually and create a personalised care plan to ensure we provide the best levels of care and support. Toys, equipment and activities are provided to stimulate play, and a variety of outings can be organised. We have a range of facilities at the Centre such as our soft play and sensory rooms which offer a mixture of educational opportunities and ways to have fun!

Oaks and Acorns

Oaks and Acorns is our residential respite facility registered with Ofsted and CQC, offering a safe and homely environment. We aim to make the service as flexible and responsive as possible linked to the needs of the young people. The length of each stay varies and can be for a day, overnight, a weekend or a week-long stay.

Each room in our Acorns children's unit is uniquely decorated in a fun, colourful theme, from The Saints to the jungle and under the sea!

Each of our rooms has specialist equipment to ensure each young person is comfortable and safe, and can enjoy their own quiet space should they wish. We also have twin rooms available if required.
