Community Fundraising

The Rose Road Association wouldn’t be able to offer the services we do without the support of the community. There are a huge range of ways you can get involved and support us:

Organise an event

We have some fantastic supporters who organise events to raise money for the Rose Road Association each year. One example of the amazing support we receive is from Jan Peirson. Jan organises and hosts a number of events each year and to date has raised over £53,000 for the Rose Road Association!

Our dedicated fundraising team will be on hand to offer you support and guidance you need and can supply a range of fundraising materials to help you reach your target. If you have any questions, or are thinking of holding your own event, why not get in touch? Email Beth at or call 023 8072 1248.

Fundraising Support Groups

Support Groups help charities in variety of ways. They provide community support throughout the year from hosting fundraising events to having promotional stalls to help raise awareness.

Here at Rose Road we are in the process of setting up Fundraising Support Groups across Hampshire. If you would like the opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills or utilise your current ones, why not consider joining? Email Beth at or call 023 8072 1248.

Our Fundraising team put of a fantastic calendar of events each year. Why not have a look at what we have coming up and see if we have the perfect event for you here.

Community Groups

Local community groups such as churches, WIs, rotary clubs, Round Table and Lions groups, are amongst some of our best supporters. One example of this is the New Forest Rotary Club; who over the years have raised over £17,000 for Rose Road.

We are always keen to visit any community groups to discuss the work of the Rose Road Association and how we can work together to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people with disabilities in the community. If you would like to book a talk please contact Beth or call 023 8072 1248.

Schools, Colleges and Youth Groups

We have always found schools, colleges and youth groups to be fantastic supporters of Rose Road. Many schools and colleges host bake sales, fetes and dress down days to raise money for Rose Road and we run a number of campaigns that you can easily get involved in.

We are always more than happy to come into to speak to students about disability, the work of Rose Road and how they can get involved to support making a positive difference to the lives of hundreds of families across Hampshire. If you would like to fundraise for Rose Road please get in touch with Beth at or call 023 8072 1248.

In Mem donations

When a close relative or friend passes away it is always difficult. Many people have found that a nice way to remember, celebrate the life and to leave a lasting legacy is to create an In Memoriam gift to the Rose Road Association, asking friends and family to make a charitable donation rather than sending flowers.

Your Gift will then help make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people with disabilities and their families.

If you would like to do this, please speak to your funeral director. Alternatively, you can set up an online page by clicking the link below.

Collection Boxes

Last year almost £4,000 was raised for the Rose Road Association from collection boxes. This could pay for 200 hours of outreach support for our families, which proves that every penny donated can make a real difference.

Collection boxes not only help to raise vital funds, they also help raise awareness of our important work.

Why not arrange for a collection box to go in your local café, pub or workplace and, with the support of your friends, customers and work colleagues start making a positive difference. Remember, it doesn’t matter how much you raise; small change from many people makes a big difference to the lives of a lot of families in Hampshire.

Alternatively why not keep one of our loose change boxes in your home? Collect any loose change you don’t want, whether it’s just your coppers, or also those pesky five pence pieces, all your change quickly adds up to make a real difference.

If you would like more information about collection boxes, please get in touch with Nicky at or call 023 8072 1202.
