65 Stories of Rose Road

The year 2017 marks 65 years since the Rose Road Association was created by a small group of parents wanting to run activities for their disabled children.

Over the last 65 years we have touched many lives and continue to make a positive difference to young disabled people and their families. To celebrate all the people that make Road Road great we asked 65 of them to tell us their stories.

They find it hard to cope with the sensory and social demands of after school clubs and typical children's activities. Mainstream activities for children are often noisy or involve a lot of social skills or competitive sports. Rose Road provides an understanding of their individual needs which enables my children to flourish at their own pace. ..
