Enter the virtual 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon now and be one of the 100,000 people taking part in the world's biggest ever marathon on Sunday 3rd October 2021.
Returning this year participants in the event will have the opportunity to run the course of their choice from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59, wherever you are on the planet! That is a whole 24 hours to complete your race.
This is your run, your way.
The official app will enable runners to record and log their 26.2 miles with exclusive audio commentary and bringing the virtual experience to life.
By choosing your own route you can run locally, go past your friends and neighbours houses as they cheer you on from their doorsteps, you can even run past the Bradbury Centre and wave to the young people who will benefit so much from the money you raise.
Taking part in this event with Rose Road allows you to not only be a part of something amazing in history but to raise awareness and money for a wonderful cause at the end of a period that has been so hard for charities.
The money you fundraise will go towards local families across Southampton, Hampshire and the surrounding areas by supporting Rose Road in supplying services such as overnight respite care, outreach, and playschemes for children and young adults with complex disabilities, learning disabilities and/or autism. The services Rose Road provide have been described as 'vital' to families and we rely on people in our community fundraising to continue doing our best to go above and beyond to support them.
Entries cost £10 when you sign up with Rose Road, and all finishers will receive their running number before the event and their coveted official finisher medal and T-shirt after the event. There is no minimum fundraising target to take part in this event. Participants will have the full support of the fundraising team for their whole journey.
