Tea is served!

On Sunday 3rd July, friends and supporters gathered in the luxurious grounds of Rhinefield House for Afternoon Tea with a difference!

Sarah Kitcher, mum to Sasa, spoke to attendees about the difference Rose Road makes to her family. Sasa uses overnights short breaks as well as Community Outreach, PlayPM our after school club and our holiday club, Playschemes. Sasa lights up the corridors of Rose Road when she is in and always has an infectious smile on her face.

Sarah is no stranger to fundraising, her salon Beau Chic in Lyndhurst often holds raffles, donates prizes and opens especially for pamper days with all profits going to Rose Road – their recent Pamper Day in aid of Rose Road raised an amazing £800.

The sun stayed out long enough for visitors to have a walk in the gardens and enjoy the maze before they sat down for scones, cakes and sandwiches in great supply.

Thank you to everybody that came to raise awareness of Rose Road and for Sarah for sharing her story of how Rose Road helps her family.
