Hair-raising success for Rose Road!

Local shoppers at Sainsbury’s Lordshill were able to take a few minutes out of trolley dashing to get a haircut at the weekend, all in the aid of raising money for Rose Road!

We are looking for 10 brave people to form a Rose Road team and take to the streets of Winchester on 21st February for the 10K City Road Race. This is a perfect event for those new to running as well those more experienced runners amongst you!

Celebrating Active Kids at Rose Road!

The Rose Road fundraising team were delighted to collect a fantastic range of sports equipment from Sainsburys at Lordshill as part of the Active Kids campaign.Active Kids allows local schools and organisations to collect vouchers and exchange them for sports and cooking equipment. The Lordshill store has had £300 of sports equipment on display in store to showcase the range of products available.

This 10k run starts at Flemming Park Leisure Centre and follows a flat route around the town of Eastleigh. Entry is £12.00 and facilities include showers, changing rooms and refreshments. For more information and to enter online please visit the runbritain website

23rd – 25th April 2010 - Jurassic Coast Weekend Trek

A natural rock formation made by the sea

Starting at Durlston head just outside Swanage this challenge sees you trekking a total of 23 miles over 2 days. Your route will follow the stunning South West Costal Path and the first day’s trek will take you past Anvil Point, Blackers Hole, Dancing Ledge, Winspit then round St Albans Head.
