We are an independent charitable organisation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of disabled children and young people, and their families.
We are situated in Aldermoor, which is close to Southampton General Hospital. We are housed in a new purpose-built centre with wonderful facilities and working conditions. We have on site permit parking for which a nominal fee is paid.
We offer a range of benefits, which includes the opportunity to join a Group Contributory Pension Scheme. We also offer continuous staff development and training opportunities. All staff are supported by individual and group supervision.
We are always looking for volunteers to supplement and enhance the work of our permanent members of staff in areas ranging from helping teaching staff with the children, working in one of our shops, or helping to organise and run our fundraising activities. Working with Disabled Children, Young People and their Families
Would you like a job which is never the same two days running, where you can be creative have fun, could sometimes be challenging - but is always satisfying?
If Yes and you have daytime, evening or weekend availability Then becoming an Outreach Worker is just what you are looking for, the job could involve supporting the child/young person in their own home or taking them on trips out to enjoy new activities.
