The New Forest Rotary Club's Horse and Cycle Ride 2010
Saturday 1st May
Now in its second year, the New Forest Rotary Club Horse and Cycle Ride is a fantastic family event and a great day out all rolled into one. Taking place during May bank holiday weekend at Burley in the New Forest, choose from either an 8 mile horse ride or a 8 or 22 mile cycle ride. All ages can enter and you can be as fast or slow as you like on route so why not stop for a picnic lunch half way round!
Mainly off-road through open forest, the routes will be fully signposted, maps will be supplied and at key points there will be Marshals to help and point out the way.
Starting from Dan Tanner's Park (adjacent to the Queen's Head Pub in Burley) the event will be opened at 10am by Desmond Swayne MP. There is plenty of parking available as well as drinks and snacks.
Minimum sponsorship (or entry fee) is only £10 for adults, £5 for children or £20 per family and you can use the online entry form
